If anyone is interested in a pre-party dive, please reply and indicate your preference for a location. Of course, at this time of year it will be conditions-dependent.

Lobos is full, so that's out. I'd be up for Monastery if conditions are mellow. If not...guess it depends on how things are looking. Coral St, Lover's Pt, Breakwater, in that order.

I would love to meet up with one or more other divers in the morning, say 9 am, and decide at that time where to dive. Earlier is also OK for me, but maybe others have longer drives (I'm in San Jose). I use Aquarius on Del Monte, so that would be a convenient meeting place for me (easy parking and they open at 7 am on weekends), but it could be any other dive shop. I'm also happy to just meet at Breakwater, for example, as the most likely site that can be dived almost no matter what the conditions are elsewhere.

I would also be keen to dive Monastery. I had several dives there recently, both North and South, and conditions were excellent although exits still difficult. Carmel River Beach is another favorite of mine, although the hike down and then up the stairs is hard work, and it is a bit of a swim out to where the rock structures are nice at 40' depth. I don't have much experience with Butterfly House (once only), Copper Rooftop (not yet) or others along there.

I would want to be out by noon (maybe only one dive for me) so I can clean up and make it to a 2 pm appointment.

Meeting up at Aquarius Del Monte sounds good to me. I'm up for 2 dives if it's a decent day. I'm open to diving various sites. (I haven't done any shore diving on the Carmel side other than No. Monastery and Lobos.)

I'd like to dive too, but I have to go to my nephew's wedding first.

Hey Peter -

What time do you think you'll be done?

The wedding is from 1-4pm, then we'll be at the party. 4-430pm?

Any chance you could join us for the first dive, or would that be just impossible logistics-wise?

I think that would be a bit much. I'll stay with the wedding, my first nephew to get married. Then party with you guys.
See You Sat - Peter

You could always do a night dive afterwards...though it might be a bit chilly out for that...

See ya
