Hi divers,
It's time for our first survey of the year at La Jolla Cove (already?!). Hopefully we will have a lot of luck surveying and looking for the big fish that hang out in the Cove after the survey. Why don't you come on out and join us?

You never know what you will see at the Cove - we've run into giant sea bass and other big fish (seven gill sharks!) on most of our surveys here! This is a fun and beautiful dive site.

We will meet for two dives on the grassy knoll just above La Jolla Cove. Bring two tanks and all dive/survey gear plus water/sunscreen. Don't forget your snorkel for the surface swim! I will bring plenty of datasheets and even a few snacks. If you are located outside of San Diego, please feel free to come on down - we welcome all Reef Check certified divers to join us!

Thanks again to my awesome team for getting this site accomplished with ease. There were no sightings of large fish, but I think the divers enjoyed the decent vis and relatively warm water temps. And some enjoyed a scooter ride to/from the 1/4 mile buoy!
